— Dr. Daniel Catrein, Managing Director Blueworld GmbH
For the successor product of our telematics platform, we consciously opted for white-label hardware. It was particularly important to us that the new solution be future-proof, secure, and compliant with regulations. Embedded Linux was intended to serve as the foundation, but we lacked experience in this area.

Stable foundation at record speed

At the same time, time was of the essence, as a practical successor had to be found and validated quickly due to a last-order announcement from the supplier of our previous hardware. That’s why we sought an experienced partner to help us get the project off the ground swiftly. The assignment to sevenlab was clear: They were to handle all aspects of the product below the application logic. The collaboration convinced us from the start: With sevenlab, we always worked on equal footing. The approach was consistently pragmatic and solution-oriented. sevenlab provided us with comprehensive support and advice, whether in discussions with the hardware supplier, on approval matters, or in internal knowledge transfer. This allowed us to build a stable foundation at record speed and, just six weeks after the project began, jointly put a first prototype into testing at a reference customer. Today, thanks to sevenlab’s expertise, we have a secure, modern platform on which we can continue to develop our product in the long term.
